American world champion Fred Kerley, deprived of the opposition of the Italian Marcell Jacobssucceeded in a new demonstration in the 100m at the Diamond League meeting in Florence (Italy) on Friday.

Kerley won in 9 sec 94 (zero wind), largely detaching himself from a quality opposition: the Kenyan Ferdinand Omanyala finished 2nd (10.05), the American world bronze medalist Trayvon Bromell 3rd (10.09), in the same time as the South African Akani Simbine, 4th.
