While there are a few months left for the Presidential election on February 25, Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye, Secretary General of the Socialist Party (PS), warned Taxawu Senegal of Khalifa Ababacar Sall.
The President of the High Council of Local Authorities (Hcct) recalls that Taxawu Senegal, excluded from the socialist ranks in 2017, does not have the right to wear the colors of the said party which are green and red. At least that’s what she did in an interview given to RTS and taken up by the newspaper Les Échos.

« Green and red have been for the PS since Lamine Guèye and Léopold Sédar Senghor. They don’t have the right to choose them… We’re not going to let them do it Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye said.
According to the latter, Khalifa Sall and Co. “know that our activists, especially the elderly, recognize themselves in these colors. Political trickery has always existed. When they are on the ground, they always emphasize that they are still socialists, but people have understood now (…) They could well come back as we have seen very often in the Socialist Party.
