A new ammonia attack reportedly affected Stib staff this Sunday. Three security agents who were patrolling the De Brouckère station were allegedly attacked around 3 p.m., according to our colleagues at La Derniere-Heure Les Sports.
A man threw a liquid, believed to be ammonia, in their direction. The targeted officers are in hospital because two of them were affected by this liquid, while the third received it on his clothes.
A suspect was arrested.
This is not the first attack of this type. Last summer, a man threw a bottle containing ammonia on the subway.
