Jeddah: Saudi King Salman’s amnesty for prisoners in the country’s jails this year. The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the necessary conditions and norms for this. Prisoners who are not involved in 36 types of crimes are eligible for amnesty.
Convictions for serious crimes such as murder, rape, sexual harassment, blasphemy, blasphemy, blasphemy against the Qur’an, crimes affecting national security, terrorism, treason, serious military crimes, torture of children with disabilities, and drug trafficking will not be granted amnesty. The government has announced the terms and conditions of the annual monarchy for prisoners in Saudi prisons.
Those convicted for a term of two years and less, and those who have served more than two years and have completed one-fourth of the sentence are eligible for the benefit.
