At first glance, the businessman and millionaire Amon Maynard (Laurence Rupp) seems extremely likeable. His family also seems nice and cosmopolitan. It’s only when you look at it a second time that it turns out that Maynard is going crazy – in the truest sense of the word.
With “Veni Vidi Vici” Daniel Hoesl (“WINWIN”) and JUlia Niemann delivered a bitter social satire in which they took aim at the interconnections between politics and the economy. Her film had its world premiere at Robert Redford’s prestigious Sundance Film Festival. The cinema release in Austria is next autumn.
