Egyptian journalist Amr Adeeb spoke about the health developments of his brother, journalist Imad El-Din Adeeb, after he fell ill during the past few days.
Amr Adeeb, during his presentation of the “Al-Hekaya” program broadcast on MBC Egypt, revealed his condition and said: “Today, Mr. Imad El-Din Adeeb had the second operation. You know that 3 days ago, a first stent was made in the anterior artery, and today a second stent was made in another artery that needed… To expand, we were all with him at 8:30 in the morning, and we thank the doctor who performed the operation for his interest and everything he provided from the beginning of his admission to the hospital.”
He continued: “Praise be to God, he is in good health and is recovering, and God willing, he will be released from the hospital very soon.”
He concluded by thanking the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum: “A great humanitarian stance. Yesterday, Imad was surprised by a visit from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Ruler of Dubai, to check on him. This humanitarian gesture is a tribute to Professor Imad al-Din Adeeb and every Egyptian, and is not strange to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.”
