Egyptian actor Amr Saad announced during the past hours his entry into the world through an American film in which he collaborates with Oscar-winning director Robert Moresco, and filming is scheduled to begin during the coming period.
Saad said in television statements that by starring in this work, he will be the second Arab star after the international Omar Sharif to participate in a major role in an American film, stressing that he faces a great challenge, which will be a milestone in his artistic career if he achieves the success he hopes for.
Regarding the scenes of his communication with Moresco, he said that he was the one who presented him with the award honoring him at the “Capri” Festival for the movie “Goat”, and after that they agreed to artistic cooperation on a film that he wrote and directed, and which he is currently preparing for.
He also revealed that he is busy filming a new drama series, describing it as “the bomb of the season.” He also continues filming his film “The Crows,” explaining that an exorbitant budget has been set for it, as it is being filmed in more than one Arab and foreign country, and its events take place during a period 1940s.
Amr Saad announced his exit from the dramatic competition taking place in the upcoming Ramadan season, after successive successes he achieved with the “Al-Sabah Brothers” company in recent years, the most recent of which was the series “Al-Ajahar”, which was shown during the upcoming Ramadan season. As for the reason for this decision, he said that he is preparing for a huge series. He has been working on it for three years, and through it he will also renew cooperation with Al-Sabah, indicating that it will be shown next year, 2025.
