President Sadyr Japarov signed the law “On the ratification of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in organizing the production of automotive and commercial vehicles in the Kyrgyz Republic,” the press service of the department reports.
According to her, the law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on March 15, 2023.
Ratification of this agreement will make it possible to implement an investment project to organize the assembly production of passenger and commercial vehicles in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The implementation of the project in the Kyrgyz Republic will give impetus to the development of the automotive industry of the republic, increase the share of industry in GDP, renew the vehicle fleet, create more than 2,000 new jobs, create new industries in terms of components for vehicles, which, accordingly, will have a positive impact on the dynamics of the country’s economy.
