A 35-year-old woman of Argentine nationality died on Sunday in Ibiza after being hit by a vehicle and her family is asking for help to repatriate the body.
The victim was identified as Sol Yapura, who died hours after entering a health center due to the severity of his injuries.
In the midst of the Justice claim, the family of the girl from Rosario started a collection to cover the expenses involved in the repatriation of the remains.
“We are not clear about what happened in the accident. We cannot travel because we do not have enough funds. It would be a blessing if her parents could travel to say goodbye to her,” relatives told Rosario 3.
Fatal accident in Ibiza: an Argentinian woman died
As reported this Monday by the hospital, the accident took place at dawn on Sunday in the area known as the ‘Podencos roundabout’ in Ibiza.
Local Police officers and a mobile UVI ambulance from 061 went to the scene, taking the woman to the center around 1:00 a.m., where she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
The patient had severe head trauma with a skull fracture, brain hemorrhage and brain edema, as well as abdominal trauma with a liver laceration and multiple trauma with vertebral fractures, among other injuries.
After entering the Polyclinic, he died this Sunday around 11:30 am.
