A triathlete in her forties died this Sunday morning while participating in the Ironman Calella-Barcelonaas confirmed by the Medical Emergency System (SEM) of Catalonia and the Police.
The body was located early this Sunday at the end of the swimming testthe first of the three included in the competition. Once the participants have left the water, the authorities have identified a body in the water.

In the female category, the winner was Martha Sanchez with a time of 8 hours, 31 minutes and 32 seconds. Among the men, the first to cross the finish line was the German Jan Strattmanwho completed the route in 7 hours, 28 minutes and 25 seconds.
