(CNN Spanish) — An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 was recorded this Tuesday in the province of Jujuy, north of Argentina, reported the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
According to the National Institute for Seismic Prevention (Inpres), the earthquake was recorded at 8:06 pm local time and had a depth of 220 kilometers.
So far no damage from the earthquake has been reported.
