The Lebanese artist, Nadine Al-Rassi, spoke regarding the coffin in which her brother, the late artist George Al-Rassi, was placed, and who was buried in his last resting place on Monday.
The coffin mightn’t hold it
Nadine Al-Rassi said that the coffin in which George was placed might not reach him because of the overwhelming happiness in which he was.
George Al-Rassi’s sister revealed that their family decided to dress him in a suit instead of shrouding him in white.
And she continued in an interview with the “Arab Wood” program: “George’s shoulders were tight on the coffin, because the whole world would not support him. He was wearing a very nice suit, and the life of my children, if you put the microphone in his hand, would make him sing.”
Nadine Al-Rassi spoke of her suffering following the death of her brother, George, from weak faith. And she added: “By God, my faith will be strengthened for me, because in my grocery store for 3 days, my faith is not correct. Oh Lord, return my faith to me quickly, to make me accept what happened, and if George ever upset you, I was the one who told him to do this. Receive your intruder into your kingdom.”
