An Egyptian artist reveals the details of his search for his mother’s grave after her death 30 years ago in Riyadh

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Egyptian artist, Hamza Namira, revealed the details of his search for the grave of his mother in Riyadh, who died 30 years ago when he was young and residing with his family in the Kingdom.

“Namira” said in tweets on his account on the “Twitter” website: “The thing I wanted to do and unfortunately I didn’t know is that I am visiting my mother’s grave, may God have mercy on her… She died 30 years ago and was buried in Riyadh.”

He added: “As a child, I do not know where the grave is or where my sisters are, because we were young… Since Baba died a month and a half ago, and he was the only one who knew where her grave was.”

And “Nimrah” continued, “I tried, by God, for a friend who lives in Riyadh. He tried with me. There is a wonderful service in the Riyadh governorate, by which you can know the location of the grave of the deceased to visit him.”

Hamza Namira concluded, by saying: “But unfortunately the records start from 1417 AH and my mother passed away before that… I was hoping to visit her, but the share, may God have mercy on her.”
