An exceptional alignment of four planets will be visible in the sky this Sunday

You will have to get up early, this Sunday, April 17, to be able to enjoy a spectacular spectacle: Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter will be perfectly aligned in the ciel seen from the northern hemisphere. The best time to observe this phenomenon will be from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., when Jupiter comes out of the horizon, indicates Futura.

It is important to note that Venus, Mars and Saturn have already been visible in the sky since the beginning of the month. And, this Sunday, Jupiter will join them by positioning itself close to the horizon. The planets will form this alignment for several days with a peak around April 23, in particular due to the appearance of the Moon in the same axis.

A parade of planets on June 24

The show will then continue every day, on the same time slot, until the end of April. Once this date has passed, these four planets will still be visible but they will no longer be aligned.

In the month of June, another spectacle will be visible in the sky with an alignment of all the planets of the Solar system, a phenomenon called a parade of planets. This will take place on Friday, June 24, but only five of these stars will be visible to the naked eye: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. The most passionate can equip themselves with astronomical glasses or a telescope to observe the two other planets, namely Neptune and Uranus.
