An exemplary project was signed in cooperation with Güzelyurt Evkaf Kindness Volunteers, Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Dentists (KTDTO) and Cyprus University of Health and Social Sciences (KSTU).
In the past months, disabled citizens living in Güzelyurt and its surrounding regions were visited by Güzelyurt Evkaf Kindness Volunteers on 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and it was determined that adult and disabled citizens had great problems with their dental health during the visits.
In order to eliminate the problems experienced, the dental treatment processes of 15 adults and children with disabilities were successfully carried out with the financial support of volunteer doctors at KTDTO, academicians working at KSTU and Evkaf. Many years of neglected surgeries were performed.
After the successful project, Evkaf Güzelyurt Kindness Volunteers coordinator Dr. Nurçin İncirli, President of KTDTO Dt. Halil Bakkaloğlu and KSTU Director Assoc. Dr. Serdal Gündüz announced that these works will continue with disabled citizens living in all regions.
