an important leak reveals design and technical sheet

Unboxing ahead of time for the Samsung Galaxy S22. A new leak confirms the design of the next flagship, while detailing several technical details.

As always when it comes to Samsung, the Korean brand has to deal with repeated leaks. While the Galaxy S21 FE has just been formalized, it is now the turn of the S22 range to be unveiled to the general public … a little early.

In a video recently posted by the channel Unbox Therapy on YouTube, we discover what seems to be the dummy version of the three versions of the brand’s next flagship. The opportunity tosee in detail the S22, the S22 Plus and the S22 Ultra, which feature designs in line with their predecessors. Only the Ultra version seems to stand out, with a matt coated back, and a photo block fully melted into the back shell.

Quickly deleted, the video remains accessible on social networks, and allows to confirm in detail the appearance of the new flagships of Samsung. It must be said that if this new leak seems important, it only confirms the information already shared last month by the leaker OnLeaks on Twitter.

Camera and new charger

In addition to its design, the Samsung Galaxy S22 also takes advantage of this wild unboxing to confirm some crucial points of its technical sheet. Thus the S22 and S22 Plus will sport a main camera of 50 Mpx, associated with an ultra wide-angle and a telephoto lens. While the classic version will adopt a compact 6.1-inch format, the S22 Plus will opt for a 6.55-inch screen.

For its part, the very high-end S22 Ultra will benefit from an original design, which is moreover not unlike the last Galaxy Note, abandoned for a few years by the brand. The premium iteration of the range would also offer a quadruple rear sensor, namely a main module of 108 Mpx, an ultra wide angle of 12 Mpx, a telephoto lens of 10 Mpx (zoom x3), and a periscope x10 of 10 Mpx.

Finally, all S22 versions could also benefit from a whole new fast charger. On Twitter, Roland Quandt from WinFuture thus share what appears to be a bloc de 45W SB-C vers USB-C, which presages an increased charging speed compared to previous models.

Obviously, all of this information, as tangible as it may be, should be taken with a grain of salt. Still a little patience, Samsung should soon formalize its new 2022 flagship range. Usually the announcement takes place at the start of the year, between January and February.
