The Bloomberg Billionaires Index showed an outperformance Indian billionaire Gautam Adani, owner of the “Adani” group, The American, Bill Gates, should become the fourth richest person in the world.
According to the index data, Adani’s net worth – who founded his business on agricultural trade, coal and ports – rose to $112.5 billion, as his wealth is considered high since the beginning of this year by about $36 billion.
Thus, the fortune of the Indian billionaire exceeded that of the co-founder of Microsoft, by about $230 million, as the latter’s fortune declined this year with the acceleration of his charitable giving.
It is noteworthy that Adani also increased his charitable donations in June to mark his 60th birthday, as he pledged to donate $ 7.7 billion to a variety of social causes.
Warren Buffett, who slipped into seventh place in the rankings, donated more than $35 billion to charitable causes, including $3.1 billion in June alone.
