Apple products get better over time. Beginning of the year 2022, we explained to you that old Apple products are worth a small fortune. We didn’t lie to you. A first-generation iPhone has just gone up for auction at 35,000 euros.

The House RR Auction knows how to find some treasures. Indeed, it regularly sells products stamped Apple. RR Auction groups under the category “Apple, Jobs, and Computer Hardware” different products such as old computer models, personal effects that belonged to Steve Jobs or even more recently an iPhone. All these products end up finding a buyer at more or less crazy sums.

A model from the first production

The sale that caught our attention is that of an iPhone 1. It is a first generation iPhone sold in its original box and still in blister. Specifically, it is the first generation A1203 model with 8GB storage capacity.

The peculiarity of this box is that in the image the iPhone is shown life-size. You may also notice that the iPhone image only has 12 icons on its screen. Indeed, this is a sign of a model from a first production. The 13th icon, iTunes, appeared later in 2007.

The auction ended on August 18, 2022. The iPhone went for $35,414 (35,308.29 euros). Initially, the estimated sale price was $15,000. Also present in the auction session, a first generation iPod went for more than 25,000 euros.
