Al-Marsad newspaper: The spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian parliament, Abul-Fadl Amoui, said that “talks with Saudi Arabia have reached a good level.”
“Talks with Saudi Arabia to restore relations have reached a good level, and it is hoped that diplomatic talks will be held between the two countries soon, because this measure can certainly be a prelude to reviving political relations,” Amoui told the Iranian Mehr news agency.
He explained that “negotiations with the Arab Gulf states are being followed up seriously by the government of President Ibrahim Raisi, and that building, strengthening and revitalizing bilateral relations is an important issue that requires work and time, and we should not expect to achieve these goals immediately, but in all issues our main focus is on preserving safeguard and protect national interests.
And he added, “The Iranian government has followed the path of dialogue to restore relations with Saudi Arabia, and the information we have received is that we have reached a very good level in this field.”
