AN Israeli soldier was shot dead by Israeli forces. Worse still, the shot did not only use 1 bullet but 400 bullets.

This was done after they were sure that he was a Palestinian citizen. This was reported by the Israeli news agency, Ynet, as reported by Yeni Safak.

The incident occurred on October 8. This means it happened the day after the Al-Aqsa Flood military operation led by Hamas.

The report revealed that the soldier, Niv Ayous, 25, was a reservist in the Caracal unit of the Israeli occupation army. He was driving in the Gaza Strip border area when Israeli forces mistakenly identified him as a Palestinian.

His vehicle was hit by gunfire. It killed him instantly.

The soldier’s mother is now demanding that the Israeli government recognize him as a fallen soldier, not a civilian victim.

Yedioth Ahronoth shared details of the incident. The incident occurred in the morning, October 8.

Ayous left his in-laws’ home in occupied Ashdod to join his unit. (Z-2)
