An official Egyptian source denied, in statements to Cairo News, what the Washington Post claimed that Egypt had produced up to 40,000 missiles to be secretly shipped to Russia, according to what it claimed was a leaked US intelligence document.
The source said that what the newspaper published was informational nonsense that had no basis in truth.
He added that Egypt follows a balanced policy with all international parties, and that the determinants of this policy are peace, stability and development.
