An old video of King “Charles” performing the Saudi parade in Riyadh when he was crown prince and revealing the date and occasion of the ceremony • Al Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Tweeters circulated photos and a video clip showing the King of Britain, Charles III, wearing a shemagh, a headband, and traditional Saudi clothes and performing the “Ardah” dance during a visit to Riyadh, 8 years ago, before he became king.

The picture dates back to a visit by Prince Charles to Riyadh on February 18, 2014, and he appeared in the pictures surrounded by a number of princes and guards, and he performed the folk dance while carrying a sword.

Charles had made a private visit to Saudi Arabia that year and participated in the Janadriyah Folk Festival in the Diriyah region of the Kingdom.
