The Quebec manufacturer Lion Electric announced Thursday that it has received a second order for 30 LionC 100% electric school buses from an “important” customer whose name it did not reveal.
Delivery of this order of 30 zero-emission school buses is expected by March 31, 2023, said Lion, who promised to reveal the identity of its customer later.
This “will save more than 600 tons of greenhouse gases and provide a healthier environment for the children who will be transported in these buses”, it was added.
The Quebec manufacturer prides itself on having sold more than 550 zero-emission vehicles since 2016, while the company’s order book continues to grow each year.
