The Ministry of Climate Change and the Environment signed a memorandum of understanding with the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of agriculture, supporting rural development and adopting modern farming systems between the two countries, on the sidelines of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to the UAE, which concluded yesterday, Wednesday.
The memorandum of understanding comes within the framework of the UAE’s strategic direction to enhance international cooperation and coordination and exchange experiences and successful experiences to enhance capabilities to meet all challenges and ensure a better sustainable future.
The memorandum was signed by Maryam bint Muhammad Saeed Harib Al Muhairi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and Bakir Pak Demirli, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey.
