An unusual photographic exhibition in Limoges

The association Les Glaneurs d’images presents unusual or surprising situations, spontaneous or staged, captured or revealed by a photograph until February 3 at the Jean-Gagnant cultural center in Limoges.

For thirty years, Les Glaneurs d’images has brought together a heterogeneous panel of amateur, beginner and experienced photographers who meet to share their pleasure in photography and exchange their knowledge.

“The objective of this unusual exhibition is to show people the possibility of having a good time, of seeing photos of strange people” explains Christian Ramousse, president of the association Les Glaneurs.

This is the first time that this association has organized such an exhibition at the cultural center with 35 unusual photos, 15 photos of nature and 8 photos of animals.

The two photographers produced photo tableaux playing with lighting and colors to bring the paintings together. “Still life presents us with the inspiration of 19th century paintings,” says Pierre Paillier, photographer from the association Les Glaneurs.

The next subject of the association will be landscapes, in black and white.
