The Secretary of Foreign Relations of Mexico, Marcelo Ebrard, confirmed that they granted asylum to relatives of the former president of Peru Pedro Castillo. The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has said that there is a “pause” in diplomatic relations with the government of the president, Dina Boluarte. Could it be that she backed down on that suspension and will she negotiate with the current government about a possible attempt to bring Castillo’s relatives to Mexico?
