Commenting on the bloody events of Al-Kahala, the head of the “Progressive Socialist” Party, Representative Taymour Jumblatt, wrote on social media: “Please do not repeat the victims among the Lebanese, and condolences to those who perished in Al-Kahala. Beyond the wounds required not to allow the matter to be exploited to stir up sedition and exhume the past, Rather, we must converge with every wise and sane position. We adhere to national unity, and we await the results of the investigation so that it can be built on it without defaming the institutions, especially the army.”
Al-Kahala witnessed bloody clashes between the people and Hezbollah members, in which two people were killed, as a truck belonging to the party fell.
