Analyzing the New Laws in Florida: Immigration, Teaching Restrictions, Concealed Weapons, and More

2023-06-28 22:01:58

In our virtual meeting today we analyze the new laws that come into force in Florida on July 1.

Among the most contentious and controversial of these 200 new laws, we pay special attention to immigration, restrictions on teaching regarding sexual orientation and gender identity, carrying concealed weapons without a license, expanding a larger state guard, and the limits on the use of TikTok, among others.

We will see how some of these laws are being challenged in the courts. To do this, we spoke with Miami-Dade Police Chief Freddy Ramírez.

Be part of the conversation hosted by Gloria Ordaz at 8:00 pm on all Telemundo 51 digital platforms, and on Telemundo Florida channel 906 on Roku.
