ANANDA Omesh said his love for the world of motorbikes stems from his experience of not being able to own a private vehicle as a child. The 37 year old man, who is one of the founders of Podkesmas, said that in the past, he came from a poor family.

“I really love the automotive world, especially two-wheeled vehicles, to be more specific. This stems from revenge because in the past he was never able to afford to buy a vehicle. Me, from when I was little until I was an adult, my father didn’t have a private vehicle. Never mind a car, I don’t even have a motorbike,” he said when interviewed by Wendi Cagur on Wendi’s YouTube account.

“I saw that some of my friends from childhood had motorbikes. I look really cool and can I borrow it or not? “I used public transportation from when I was little, even to college,” continued Omesh.

The man whose real name is Ananda Rusdiana added that he only managed to buy a vehicle when he was in college. At that time, he was forced to study while working to fulfill his desire.

“So the first time I was able to buy a vehicle was a motorbike when I was in college because I was working selling milk for children. I went to the minimarket and offered milk while carrying the tester. “I collected the money to buy a motorbike,” he said.

Omesh said that apart from buying a motorbike, he also had to work while studying to fulfill his needs.

He explained that during college, he was only able to rent boarding houses that were not suitable and was looking for ones with cheap prices.

“I study while working because I don’t have enough. Imagine that I like to stay in my friend’s boarding house which cost a minimum of IDR 600 thousand to IDR 1 million in my time. Meanwhile, my boarding house costs a minimum of IDR 150 thousand to IDR 200 thousand. Imagine what the difference is. “If I had to enter a far alley and it was flood season, my boarding house would definitely flood and the roof would also leak,” said Omesh.

“Then when I was in college, I also started singing for food. Friday, Saturday and Sunday I usually busk with my friends on Jalan Dago, Bandung, the money is for dinner. Once I was in the fasting month and wanted to break the fast and didn’t have any money. “So yes, I’m studying while working because I have to earn money to provide supplies,” he continued.

However, Omesh never felt proud because he had to work while studying. Moreover, he joked that many of his friends also came from underprivileged families, so it wouldn’t embarrass him even if he had to busk.

Bad experience with a motorbike gang

On that occasion, Omesh also said that he had an unpleasant experience related to motorbikes. He was once robbed by a motorbike gang in Bandung and felt almost dead at that time.

“I almost died because of a motorbike gang. So, when there were a lot of motorbike gangs in Bandung, I was borrowing a friend’s motorbike and suddenly I was kicked by them until I fell. There are dozens of motorbikes. “Then I was held by two people and all my things were taken,” said Omesh.

In a state of urgency, Omesh, who was part of the theater student activity unit at that time, racked his brains to get out of this situation. He realized, at that time, that there was a respected motorbike club in Bandung and he admitted that he was the younger brother of one of the top officials of the motorbike club.

“When I was in college, I took part in a theater extracurricular, so I learned about acting. I know what motorbike gang it is and one of the respected motorbike clubs in Bandung is the Bikers Brotherhood. At that time, I told them if you want to slash me, go ahead. I’m dead now it’s okay. But I’m sure you’ll all die. “It wasn’t just you who died, your family died and I burned down your house,” he said firmly.

“I know what motorbike gangs are. You don’t know who I am. My brother will look after you all. I said I was Kang Bambang Brotherhood Dago’s younger brother. After that they ran away because they were afraid. I just sat there shaking. I think Kang Bambang is there or not. “Because I made it up,” said Omesh while laughing.

Even though he could never forget this incident and it was quite traumatic, in fact Omesh’s love for motorbikes has never disappeared to this day.

It is known that he is part of the Motorbaik and The Prediction communities which contain public figures such as Wendi Cagur, Andre Taulany, Vincent Rompies, Desta, and others. (Z-1)
