Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, admitted that it had become difficult for his team to win the Spanish Football League title, following a 1-1 draw with rivals Atletico Madrid, who completed the match with ten players.
With this result, leaders Barcelona are close to increasing the difference to ten points from Real Madrid, when they visit Almeria today, “Sunday,” and Ancelotti realizes the difficulty of his team’s task.
And when asked regarding the race to win the title, Ancelotti said in statements to the “Dazn” platform: It was really difficult before that match, now it has become more difficult, we fight until the end, that is what I can say.
He added: We lacked efficiency in our performance, but that was evident in the mental state of the team more than the physical state, when we were losing with a goal that it took 10 minutes for us to come back, and to rearrange the situation.
Ancelotti said: In the first half there was a lack of decisiveness, and in the second we reached the top of our level, but we did not benefit from the numerical superiority.
