Anderlecht have a surprising new recruit: a competitor for Dreyer? – Latest transfers

According to a local source, an agreement has been reached between Anderlecht and Skënderbeu, an Albanian D1 club, for Ermir Rashica. A right winger who should a priori strengthen RSCA Futures… unless?

Ermir Rashica (20 years old) will he join RSC Anderlecht? This is what the Albanian media claims CNA, who yesterday mentioned an agreement with “a high-level European club”, and revealed this Thursday that the club in question would therefore be Anderlecht.

The details of the transfer are not known, but Rashica is estimated on Transfermarkt at 350,000 euros. He arrived in Skënderbeu last summer from the Kosovar club Trepca 89. Since then, Ermir Rashica has played 38 games, scoring 8 goals and providing 5 assists.

Such a transfer would be a huge step forward for the Albanian right winger, a 4-time U21 international for his country. It is therefore not impossible that Rashica will instead join the RSCA Futures core.

However, it is known that Jesper Fredberg and Brian Riemer are looking for a winger to compete with Anders Dreyer, and that the Danish sporting director appreciates young, cheap talents with high potential added value. Ermir Rashica seems to fit this profile.

Skënderbeu, a club from the city of Korçë, finished 4th in the Albanian D1 last season. It was from Skënderbeu that the short-lived Anderlecht player Kristal Abazaj came, arriving at the very beginning of the Coucke era and who only played one match in Mauve & Blanc.
