2024-02-29 13:44:19

The future fields of e-mobility, decarbonization, circular economy and digitalization are what the Graz-based system manufacturer Andritz is focusing on. In addition to the traditional business areas such as power plant construction, biomass boilers and the paper industry, it is the turn towards greener business that brought the group records in sales and profits in the past financial year. The largest division, “Pulp & Paper,” contributed 4.1 billion euros (plus 17 percent), or almost half, to sales. This grew by 15 percent to 8.7 billion euros compared to the previous year. The operating result rose by 14 percent to 742 million, the bottom line was a consolidated profit of 504.3 million euros. An increase in the dividend from 2.10 euros to 2.50 euros per share will be proposed to the shareholders at the general meeting.
