Launched last September, the iPhone 14 Plus would sell poorly enough to disrupt Apple. Worried about seeing its iPhone XXL tripping over the carpet, the firm is now thinking about revamping its iPhone range in 2023.

We learn from MacRumors that Apple would think about revamping its lineup of iPhone in 2023. This information deserves to be taken with a little hindsight, however, since it comes from a korean bloggerwho has not always been right in the past.
For context, the iPhone 14 Plus replaces the iPhone 13 mini in Apple’s catalog. It includes all the specifications of theiPhone 14 classic 5.4-inch, but with a larger screen and a beefier battery. This model is sold in France from 1169 euros. A high price: the iPhone 14 Pro starting for its part at 1329 euros in our latitudes.
Towards a change of approach and a price reduction?
As reported MacRumors, two potentially complementary tracks would be studied by Apple. The first would be to better differentiate its classic iPhone and Plus on one side, from its iPhone Pro and Pro Max on the other. A thesis supported a few days ago by Ming-Chi Kuo. The second track would simply be to lower the price of the Plus models to make them more attractive.
However, it is difficult to know what this price change would give in France, the pricing of the iPhone being this year particularly unfavorable to French consumers (899 dollars excluding taxes for the iPhone 14 Plus in the United States, against 1169 euros including tax in France, as indicated above). It is also unclear whether this price revision would also be relevant for the classic model or if Apple would just seek to reduce the price range between the Plus and classic models.
Note that for ses iPhone 15, Apple would also prepare some design changes. While it is difficult to say anything 10 months before their supposed launch, several rumors suggest that all models will adopt the famous Dynamic Island of the iPhone 14 Pro.
