Angra dos Reis Flooding Tragedy: Two Dead, 300 Evacuated

At least two people died and more than 300 had to be evacuated in the Angra dos Reis regionin the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, due to intense rains, which have caused flooding, local authorities reported today.

The two deceased are two elderly people who were in a residence affected by the floods, according to municipal sources cited by the newspaper Folha.
