Thrissur: In the Commonwealth Championship starting today and the Asian Weightlifting Championship to be held next month, Junior 76 kg. Anjana Sreejith will represent India in the category. He is Junior National Champion and All India Inter University Champion last year.
He is a student of St. Mary’s College, Thrissur. Trained at the Thrissur District Sports Council Weightlifting Training Center for seven years under Chitra Chandramohan (Kerala Sports Council), who was the coach of the Indian team. Anjana is the daughter of Sreejith and Kavita from Wayanad.
