The National Administration of Drugs, Food and Medical Technology (ANMAT), by provision 7392/2023, prohibited the sale of hair products Luxury Cosmetics, because the laboratory that produced them was clandestine.
The provision explains that “within the framework of a trespass “”clandestine laboratorysince, at the time of the procedure, was not authorized by the ANMAT for such purposes“.

The operation was carried out by the personnel of the Crimes against Health and Personal Safety Division of the Buenos Aires City Police with virtual assistance from the Cosmetics Service.
During the operation, Luxury Cosmetics brand units were seized, which had on their labeling, as health registration data, the legend “Establishment Elaborador File 2488, Res 155/98.”

This file corresponds to the establishment Laboratorios Dermosoluxion SRL, an establishment that does have authorization from ANMAT as a Manufacturer of personal hygiene products, cosmetics and perfumes.
