The 45-year-old star of the series “Secrets of the Investigation” (the 22nd season is currently being filmed) Anna Kovalchuk rarely gives interviews. But the other day she talked about her family and children.

“In general, I am a strong person,” Kovalchuk admitted. – I just understand that the strength of a woman is in her weakness. I know how to yield so that a man appears. It is clear that I can take a sledgehammer and build a house. But when a man is next to you, you need to give him the initiative, and do nothing yourself. My man – husband Oleg – is much stronger than me, and you can’t fight him. In the upbringing of our son Dobrynya, I take a position of waiting and give him the opportunity to act.
Kovalchuk speaks of their 12-year-old heir with undisguised delight.
– Son – well done, excellent student. The whole first class I did lessons with him – I refused to shoot. I did not study with my daughter Zlata, and she studied at the secondary level. Dobrynya is seriously passionate about basketball. He is tall. And definitely smarter than me. I don’t know how it happened, Anna noticed not without irony.
Zlata Ilchenko is the artist’s daughter from her first marriage to classmate Anatoly Ilchenko. The girl, who will turn 22 the other day, starred with her mother in a movie, in the same “Secrets of the Investigation”.
“This year, Zlata received a law degree,” Kovalchuk shared the news. – But she will be engaged in equestrian business. Horses are my daughter’s passion. She is a candidate master of sports. She will have her own stable, where she will conduct business. We have two horses, but apparently there will be more.
It is curious that the horses mentioned by Anna live in different conditions.
– One horse is simple, loves to walk, she needs meadows, and she lives in an ordinary stable, – the artist explained. – And the other – elite, is in improved comfortable conditions.
Anna herself is an excellent rider. But she has not yet been able to use these skills in the frame. But Kovalchuk famously rode on a broomstick, and even in the nude, in the TV series The Master and Margarita. There were many contenders for the role of Margarita, but director Vladimir Bortko, as he himself explained, chose Kovalchuk with the expectation that it was her beautiful body with long legs that would be ideal for a night flight.
“When I flew, I had a special corset that was hung on a cable,” Anna shared with the viewers of the St. Petersburg channel. – It was very difficult to remove the corset. I couldn’t sit in a corset. During lunch, I had to lie down and eat. It was terribly cold in the pavilions at Lenfilm. This iron ball costume and iron shoes that left scars on the ankle. I still have these scars.
Director Bortko was very surprised when Anna refused to play the wife of a spy in his other film Soul of a Spy, despite the fact that the shooting took place in London, and Hollywood stars, in particular Malcolm McDowell, participated in the project.
– After meeting with my husband and the birth of Dobrynya, I am very selective about new proposals, – Anna explained. – I don’t have many performances in the theatre. I turn down movie roles. All for the family. Every summer I set aside two months to be with the children at sea.
