Actress Anne Heche, hospitalized after crashing into a Los Angeles home in her car, had drugs in her system at the time of the accident, according to new information released Thursday.

In addition, Anne Heche is being investigated for impaired driving, Los Angeles police confirm.
The 53-year-old woman is still hospitalized and her condition is critical.
She allegedly ran into a house in Los Angeles while driving her car. The house then caught fire.
Originally, the accident was considered a minor offence.
However, the results of the blood tests which revealed the presence of drugs, as well as the occupant of the house who was injured at the time of the accident, meant that the file is now treated as a misdemeanor.
Anne Heche must undergo operations concerning several burns. According to her representatives, she is also on a ventilator.
