Tozeur is still talked about, as it always has. This emblematic city of southern Tunisia is full of mysteries, potential and discoveries, it inspired the German Travel Association (DRV) to hold its annual “Destination Forum”, which took place from May 6 to 11. fluent. This forum was organized by the Tunisian National Tourist Office (Ontt), in partnership with Tunisair and the Ftav (Tunisian Federation of Travel and Tourism Agencies).
During a visit to the oases of the region, where the sand lights up with the golden reflections of the dunes and the sky, clear, shines with a brilliant blue, Riadh Dkhili, the representative of the Ontt in Frankfurt, underlined: “The Ontt and the Ftav have developed a total of 4 different thematic circuits in order to offer a maximum of opportunities for discovering the product in person. In addition to the common program, the delegation split into four groups and the program was rich and varied”.
The whole delegation met during the last evening and before its departure on the site of the set of the films of the “Star Wars” saga for the final climax with a laser show program where many talented artists performed to close this “Destination Forum”.
For his part, the governor of Tozeur, Aymen Bjaoui, mentioned: “After the battle of Covid-19, we are fighting for ecological tourism, given that the region has diversified natural resources. This operation is of strategic importance, insofar as it will contribute, on the one hand, to boosting tourist activity in the region and, on the other hand, to make the product “Saharan tourism” better known. to the German market.
