Anonymous claims responsibility for the downing of 325 Maduro administration websites

Hackers belonging to Anonymous have declared “war” on the government of Nicolás Maduro and have claimed responsibility for the downing of at least 325 government websites in the last two days.

Through the account of X of Cyber ​​Hunters (@White_Hunters), the group associated with the Anonymous network, published a list of Venezuelan government portals that were supposedly hacked by them.

Among the portals that cannot be viewed after the attack recorded by Cyber ​​Hunters are the pages of Conatel, the presidency, the Public Ministry, Seniat, the National Assembly, the Supreme Court of Justice and the CICPC. In this way, the websites of the Venezuelan public powers are offline.

At the time of publication of this note, El Estímulo confirmed that none of these web pages can be viewed either inside or outside the country.

As of July 31, the group had claimed responsibility for the takedown of 25 accounts linked to the Maduro government.

By August 2, the group linked to the international hacker network Anonymous, declared that it had taken down 325 websites linked to or supporting the Maduro government.
