Another hint at The Game Awards 2022 reveal?

Those responsible for Kojima Productions could possibly use The Game Awards 2022 in December to unveil a new title or at least the first details of a new development. At least that’s what a tweet posted by Kojima suggests.

In recent months, Japanese development studio Kojima Productions has been linked with several possible projects, including a sequel to Death Stranding, which a well-known insider says is in development under the codename Ocean.

What’s more, the studio itself sparked new rumors and speculation last month when it circulated a mysterious teaser. This featured the outline of a female face and the words “Who Am I?” After it was quickly speculated that the corresponding project could be presented at The Game Awards 2022, none other than Hideo Kojima himself provided new topics of conversation.

As Kojima indicated via Twitter, the first details about the new project could be given at the “next big event”.

Will Margaret Qualley return?

Kojima did not name a specific period. However, the Japanese design legend has enjoyed collaborating with Geoff Keighley, producer and host of The Game Awards, to launch titles in the past. This suggests that when asked where, Kojima may indeed be referring to The Game Awards 2022 in December of this year.

According to unconfirmed reports, the female silhouette could be Margaret Qualley, who played Mama in Death Stranding and is said to be working with Kojima Productions on a horror title called Overdose. According to insiders, “Overdose” is a dark adventure in which we explore dark corridors in a third-person perspective and are confronted with targeted jumpscares.
