The Oakland Police Department – California, recorded a shooting that left 1 person dead and 7 injured. This is the 3rd mass shooting in California in 3 days.
CNN reported, at about 6 pm (local time) on January 23 in the 5900 block on MacArthur Avenue, there was a shooting incident between a number of people. Police did not find any victims at the scene, but found several shell casings. According to the police, the victims with gunshot wounds went to the hospital on their own.
“Currently we have recorded 8 victims, of which 1 person has died and the rest are in stable condition. The identity of the deceased victim will not be released at this time until next of kin are notified,” the police statement said.
According to some members of the victim’s family, the deceased was named Mario Navarro (18 years old). The local police continue to investigate and clarify the incident.
