Another rapist goes down in Eagle Pass; they were looking for him in minnesota

Eagle Pass.-A man who was wanted in the state of Minnesota on charges of rape or sexual assault, was detained in Eagle Pass by Border Patrol agents Tuesday followingnoon.

This is who has been identified as 37-year-old Marcelino Acosta who would have been confused with a migrant when he was surprised in an area south of this community.

Lieutenant Efrain Valdez reported that this subject faces a search warrant by the police in Fridley, of which he has been notified regarding it.

For now, Acosta was locked up at the county jail awaiting transport to where he was wanted, the sheriff’s department detectives lieutenant said.
