The dispute starts with Apple winning when capturing videos with the front camera, but the Galaxy S23 Ultra manages to better balance the details when capturing photos with the selfie camera. The South Korean top of the line also won in terms of stabilization, showing results superior to those of the iPhone 14 Pro Max even with Action Mode activated.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s victories don’t stop there. Samsung’s top of the line continues to win in terms of zoom, as the 3x and 10x optical zoom cameras have been further improved and made the iPhone 14 Pro Max cameras embarrass themselves with digital zoom.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max manages to capture good photos, but the youtuber praised how the Galaxy S23 Ultra manages to exalt colors naturally, preserve skin tones and still have a wide dynamic range even in challenging situations.
The end result was that the Galaxy S23 Ultra won in 6 categories, tied in 3 and Apple won in 3 of the tests carried out by the channel. The main highlight for Samsung’s top of the line goes to the various tools and modes for capturing and editing photos and videos on the smartphone, many of which are absent on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
