What regarding the moratorium to retire?

The head of ANSES, Fernanda Raverta, continues in her crusade to get the opposition to debate in Congress the moratorium to regularize the iIncome from contributions of people who are of retirement age, and to those who have shortfalls for the future.

This is a project prepared by Senator Anabel Fernández Sagasti which contemplates two well-defined alternatives.

  1. On the one hand, it seeks that 60-year-old women and 65-year-old men can regularize their situation in a period of 120 installments. The amounts would be deducted from the monthly credit.
  2. On the other hand, it wants to allow active workers who do not complete 30 years of contributions and are close to retiring to pay the missing periods.

It is worth remembering that at the beginning of last July, President Alberto Fernández extended the moratorium that expired on that date and that was sanctioned in 2014, until the Chamber of Deputies sanctioned a project to extend that regime, although the project that the body was analyzing legislative is an initiative sanctioned by the Senate to also include men so that they complete the years of contribution and thus be able to retire at age 65.
