Antwerp Police Arrest Two Suspects in Stolen Vehicle Incident

The vehicle was probably stolen. Police managed to arrest two of the four occupants when the car had to stop due to excessive damage.

Antwerp police spotted the vehicle on Saturday followingnoon and wanted to check it. The driver fled and caused several accidents, including damaging a parked car. A red light and the facade of a house were also damaged.

The car finally stopped, too damaged to continue. When the police arrived, the occupants had fled. She managed to catch two of them, including the suspected driver. He did not have a driving license and tested positive for cannabis.

Both suspects are of German nationality. They were arrested pending consultation with the German authorities.
