The police came across it after arresting the owner of the vehicle, a young man who was distributing fireworks to young children in one of the streets of Antwerp.
“Police in the Stuivenberg district spotted young people on Saturday setting off fireworks on the Schoolstraat square” indicates the Antwerp police on Facebook. “A young man near a car was handing out fireworks to children.“The police then checked the young man and his car and that’s when the discovery took place: more than 600 pieces of fireworks were in the vehicle. The police added that the car was poorly parked and that the young man did not respect the conditions of his provisional driving license. Fines were issued for the offenses noted and the fireworks were confiscated.
A little later, inspectors noticed other fireworks on another street in Antwerp. Two men were stopped next to a car. Inside were approximately 120 pieces of fireworks. Everything was captured.
