The CU34G2XP/BK is another curved gaming monitor produced by AOC Gaming. For the record, the company also recently presented the CU34G2XE/BKwhich we talked about separately. Although both monitors share similar model numbers, the CU34G2XP/BK is a more expensive alternative to theCU34G2XE/BKfor several reasons.
On the one hand, the CU34G2XP/BK has a refresh rate of 180 Hz, which it combines with a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels (WQHD). Additionally, the monitor offers a faster GtG response time of 1ms and AMD FreeSync Premium certification to mitigate image tearing. The CU34G2XP/BK offers a 21:9 aspect ratio and 1500R curvature, like its cheaper counterpart.
On the other hand, the CU34G2XP/BK is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified for a maximum brightness of 400 nits. Additionally, the monitor offers 99% coverage of the sRGB color space and AOC’s extensive controls, including G Menu, Shadow Control, and six presets for gaming. The CU34G2XP/BK is equipped with two DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports each, as well as four USB Type-A ports. The CU34G2XP/BK is also equipped with an ergonomic user interface. In addition, it incorporates an ergonomic support that allows you to adjust the height, tilt and swivel.
