“After watching the film, the first thing they said to me was ‘don’t act in Immadiri films once more’. We watched the movie together. They never expected that I would act in such a scene. They said that I would act in an intimacy scene, but they did not think that it would go so far. I was worried regarding their faces just like father and mother were worried, but as a performance we have to sit and show it. When asked if Appan will change his opinion if he gets the state award, Appan is of the position that no matter what award he gets, not the state award, he will not do intimate scenes anymore”, says Vinci.
Vinci’s performance in the film also received great critical acclaim. Vinci considers herself lucky that Rekha came to her. Giving more importance to performance than anything else, Vinci is preparing to look for many more great roles.
