A future 13-inch Apple MacBook Air ultraportable might be equipped with an OLED panel in 2024.
According to analyst Ross Young, Apple would launch in 2024 and MacBook Air equipped with a 13.3 inch OLED screen ensuring a very wide color gamut with deep blacks, very low latency and beautiful brightness.
The firm at the apple would indeed prefer OLED to mini-LED for the aforementioned advantages but also to offer better energy efficiency leading to greater autonomy.
On the other hand Young does not know for the moment if the ProMotion technology (frequency higher than the standard 60Hz) which current Apple devices using a mini-LED panel benefit from, will be on the program.
